On Going Work ...
Update: the largest pot holes have been fixed!!!
This Board has been actively working with government agencies and utilities regarding the pot holes and the street lights. Status check-ins are done frequently but large outside organizations move slowly.
HOA Board in Action
Several times this month, Board Members have addressed issues around the neighborhood. Sometimes for an individual, sometimes for the whole community. Pictured to the right, Gio Ferrari repairs a sign at the corner of Creekside and Winding River Road that was knocked down by a truck. Gio picked up the sign, refinished it and then put it back where it belonged.
A Job Well Done
At the HOA Board meeting on July 30, a Board member asked if the irrigation was reaching all parts of the berm. Before the meeting was over, Sherry Danko emailed Premier and asked them to look into it. They did and reported back that it was working correctly but residents might not understand that it irrigates in zones. Therefore, only part of the berm is being irrigated at any given time.
Board Training
Recent Florida Statutes require that newly elected directors in condominium (condo), homeowners associations (HOAs), and cooperative (coop) associations must complete a state-approved educational curriculum within 90 days of election or appointment. For this and other reasons the Creekside HOA had a training session on July 27 at the Star Management Offices at 8am. All Board members and several prospective members were in attendance.
